Brand Strategy | Visual Identity | Web Design
A podcast for curious film lovers who crave depth, not just reviews where they explore the psychology behind the stories you love.
the problem
Miguel came to us knowing exactly what his podcast was not, a traditional film review show, but his brand hadn't caught up to that vision yet.
Without a strategic identity to anchor it, the concept risked getting lost in a saturated space full of critics, rankings, and hot takes. The risk wasn't that his idea was weak. The risk was that it would be perceived as one more voice in a category he was never meant to compete in.

the solution
We started where we always start: competitor analysis. Understanding how other podcasts in the space were positioning themselves was about finding the gap. Miguel’s podcast, The Silver Frame, was uniquely built to fill. What we found confirmed what he already sensed. Nobody was doing what he was doing. The market was full of critics. It had no psychologists of cinema, so we needed to build a brand that found that fusion between the 2 worlds.
The psychology that sits at the core of the podcast became the visual anchor, translated into custom illustration that communicated depth, interiority, and curiosity. The color palette honored the richness of cinema's golden age, the red carpet, the weight of film, while still feeling current and new wave with the butter yellow and tusk bone.
Miguel left with a complete brand guidelines document that established the foundation for his voice along with a full logo suite and cover art for the podcast. He got social media launch graphics and a tutorial that showed him exactly how to introduce the brand to the world strategically as well as a custom website that feels like an immersive experience into psychological storytelling. SEO implemented, front end and back end which contributed to bringing in a consistent flow of weekly subscribers from organic SEO.
